On November 10 and 11, 2022, Charles University hosted the 1st 4EU+ Tomorrow’s Research and Science Innovation in student start-ups, a gathering of like-minded student startups, entrepreneurs, and student start-up funders from 4EU+ universities to network and share knowledge.
The group of students from Charles University, Heidelberg University, and the University of Milan set up on the event, which was funded by a 4EU+ student mini-grant from Charles University. Inspiring speakers from 4EU+ universities were brought together, and a network of people with a shared interest in in developing original start-up ideas.
The speakers and participants from 4EU+ universities' innovation centers acknowledged that the event was the beginning of the formation of a community that would continue to be active and organize future events and workshops of a continuous status.
Dr. Julien Levallois, the Managing Director of the Science Innovation Hub, of the faculty of science of UniGE:
It was a great pleasure to participate in the 4EU+Student Start-ups meeting. It was a unique opportunity to meet colleagues, entrepreneurs, and students from the alliance partner universities and to share our different experiences. I look forward to hosting the next meeting in Geneva next year!
